First Batch of TVL Industrial Arts Interns from PNS Completes 10-day Internship at DENR Palawan

The first batch of interns, composed of ten (10) males from the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Industrial Arts Track, specializing in Electrical Installation, have successfully completed their internship at the DENR-PENRO on January 27, 2025.

The interns' focus was primarily on technical training in electrical and electronic systems, their time at the DENR Provided them with valuable insights into how their specialized skills can contribute to environmental protection and management. 

Over the course of 10 days, the interns spent eight days at Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (PWRCC), assisting tasks that involved electrical installations and equipment maintenance, and two days at PENRO, learning how their technical knowldege can help in environmental monitoring and resource management. 

At PWRCC, the interns worked on maintaining and repairing the center's electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and other technical equipment in the admin's offices. 

During the conducted short completion program at the PENR Office lobby, PENRO Felizardo B. Cayatoc shared in his message the value of taking things "step by step" in order to succeed. He emphasized that perseverance, diligence, and constant effort are necessary for reaching one's goals, and it's not always about quick results but about steady progress.
