Chief RPS Jimmy Villareal led the reading of President Bongbong Marcos, Jr.’s remarks on MANA Mo 2024 where it emphasized the significance of the celebration and its relevance to the DENR mandate. Further, a video message of PBBM was played and watched by the personnel during the information sharing session. 

This is in line with the celebration of Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) this month of September with a theme, “Pamana ng Karagatan: Ating Ingatan Para sa Kinabukasan,” which emphasizes the unity needed to protect our marine wealth for future generations. 

Moreover, a line of activities that underscores the importance of coastal and marine protection and conservation will be observed in the whole month of September.
