CDS Staff Sanny Nedroda discussed the topic about climate change. The learning points of his discussions were about what was climate change, its effect on our environment and to us, humans. He also discussed the possible ways to lessen the effect of climate change. The Solid Waste Management topic was discussed by Engr. After the interactive discussions of the topic, the students were grouped according to their grade level. Grade 1 to 3 students were given coloring worksheets to work on, while Grade 5 to 6 were given a matching type test to work on. The Grade 7 to 12 students were divided into three groups and were tasked to do a group discussion and group reporting about what they have learned in the lecture and what is the future they wished to have.
The activity aims to empower the students with essential knowledge about the environment and climate change, and instill to their young minds that environmental protection is everyones responsibility.
