DENR-PENRO Palawan joined in the celebration of 7th Balayong Tree Planting and Nurturing Festival at Balayong People's Park that was held at Balayong People’s Park on July 27, 2024, to commemorate the collaborative efforts of the Puerto Princesans to contribute to the economic growth as well as the environmental consciousness of the City and to check the progress of the balayong trees planted along the park. 

It was actively participated by different individuals coming from different government and non-government organizations led by Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron. The main highlight of the event was the nurturing of the Balayong Trees using Effective Microorganism Extended (EME) solutions.
