They actively participated in the significant Estero clean-up activity in Puerto Princesa City Estero at Barangay San Miguel which was spearheaded by PEMU Palawan.

A total of 62 sacks of waste composed of various plastic sachets, plastic straws, plastic bottles, and various plastic wastes were collected within 1 kilometer covering the length of the barangay from Runway area to the road leading to the Ospital ng Palawan. The said wastes were collected by 198 volunteers from various groups and offices,  wherein forty-one (41) are from PENRO Palawan and CENRO Roxas composed of 28 females and 13 males and other participants are from PEMU Palawan, CENRO Roxas, Brgy. This activity aims to call for a united effort to provide safe, accessible, and reliable water for all communities. The participation of diverse groups underscores the collective effort towards safeguarding our water resources and fostering unity for a cleaner and healthier environment. This World Water Day clean-up exemplifies the power collaboration and serves as a reminder of the importance of collective action in achieving water security and environmental sustainability.

In addition to this, this kind of activity may have a cascading effect and will serve as an eye-opener for people to reflect on their behaviors and actions when they witness others clearing the trash in the surroundings.
